What's on this page

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

SEOlutions GmbH
Brunostraße 7, 28309 Bremen, Germany
Represented by the managing directors Janis Thies and Roman Filimonov
Phone: +49 421 98977926 · Email: info@seolutions.biz

2. Overview

We process personal data only to the extent that it is technically necessary for a working website or when you have given consent or contact us yourself. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual inquiries), Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR (legal obligations) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests). We do not sell personal information.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and delivered through its global server network. When you open a page, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data sent by your browser:

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • the page requested (URL) and the page visited before (referrer)
  • browser type, operating system and device type (user agent)

This data is needed to deliver the website, to keep it stable and secure and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other data sources and is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes.

Cloudflare may process data in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; for these transfers there is therefore an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare (Art. 28 GDPR). More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or social media plugins.

Question on your first visit: On your first visit we ask whether we may count page views. We store your answer in your browser's local storage (entry consent with the value granted or denied) so that we do not ask again on every page. This entry is technically necessary, is not transmitted to us and remains until you change it or clear the site data in your browser. You can change your choice at any time via "Privacy settings" in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a "Global Privacy Control" or "Do Not Track" signal, we treat it as a refusal and do not show the question on our own.

Audience measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics: Only if you agree do we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (provider: Cloudflare, Inc., see section 3) to understand which pages are read. For this, your browser loads a small measurement script from static.cloudflareinsights.com. Without your consent it is not loaded and nothing is measured. According to Cloudflare, the service works without cookies, without storing anything on your device and without fingerprinting. It records the page viewed, the referring page, the time, country, browser, operating system, device type and page load times. Your IP address is transmitted for technical reasons but is not used to recognize you; no profile across websites is created. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via "Privacy settings" in the footer of every page. More information: cloudflare.com/web-analytics.

5. Fonts and images

Fonts, graphics and images are delivered locally from our own server. Opening a page does not create a connection to Google Fonts or other third parties.

This website participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. You can recognize affiliate links by the asterisk (*) and the label “Ad”.

As long as you do not click, no data is transferred to Amazon. When you click an Amazon link, you are taken to Amazon. The link contains our associate ID so that Amazon can attribute a purchase to our website. On its own pages, Amazon.com Services LLC (410 Terry Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109, USA) sets its own cookies and processes data under its own responsibility. We receive no personal data about you from Amazon, only anonymized sales reports. The legal basis for placing the link is our legitimate interest in funding this website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Details: Amazon Privacy Notice.

We link to sources such as manufacturers, public authorities and specialist publications. These are plain links: data is only transferred once you click them. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on the linked pages.

8. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (for example name, email address and the content of your inquiry) in order to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract is concerned, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.

9. Encryption

The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS/SSL. You can tell by the “https://” and the lock symbol in the address bar.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right at any time to:

  • access the data stored about you (Art. 15)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
  • withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)); for audience measurement via "Privacy settings" in the footer of every page

To exercise these rights, simply write to info@seolutions.biz. We answer such requests from visitors in any country.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us: the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (datenschutz.bremen.de).

11. Changes

We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies; the date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
